Aging Societies 

The data table named proportion of population aged 65 and 

over show us the changes in the ratio of the people in 

Japan,Sweden and USA aged 65 and over by year over the period 

from 

1940 

to 

2040. 

As 

shown 

in 

the 

graph,generallyspeaking,the 

scale 

of 

the 

population 

aged 

65 

and 

over 

in 

the 

three 

countries 

is gradually showing us the growth trend as time goes,even 

though in the end of 20th century,the Japan's one fixed. 

Especially in the 20 years of the future,the ratio increases 

rapidly. Actually,the data diagram shows us that both the 

developing country like Sweden and the developed like the 

Japan,different places in the world,have stepped into or at 

last will enter the aging societies.
