There is room for no more than three cars. 2. 假设more是det词性,那么more than three cars是形容词短语(把than看做介词)? ——从语义和习惯用法考虑,把no more than three视为一个整体“限定词”,一起修饰cars,也就是说:中心词是cars,no more than three作定语,for...cars是介词短语。 3. 查字典初步判断no是副词,那么介词for后面“no more than three cars.” It's his manner I dislike, more than anything else. 原句 = I dislike his manner more than anything else. We should spend more on health and education. ——spend more on health and education中,显然是代词,因为spend需要宾语。 英语中有很多很多,例如: some/many/most students = some/many/most of the students
