Amlogic S905Y4是一款通用型SoC处理器,专为混合OTT BOX/IP机顶盒(STB)和高端媒体盒应用而设计。S905Y4主系统CPU是一个四核ARM Cortex-A35 CPU,具有统一的二级缓存以提高系统性能。此外,Cortex-A35 CPU包括NEON SIMD协处理器,以提高软件媒体处理能力。支持4K场景下的媒体处理应用。

Amlogic S905Y4图形子系统包括两个图形引擎和一个灵活的视频/图形输出管道。ARM G31 MP2 GPU处理所有OpenGL ES 3.2 Vulkan 1.1和OpenCL 2.0图形程序,而2.5D图形处理器处理额外的缩放、alpha、旋转和颜色空间转换操作。CPU和GPU一起处理所有操作系统、网络、用户界面和游戏相关任务。视频输出管道包括HDR10+、HDR10和HLG处理、BT.709/BT.2020/BT.2100处理、运动自适应边缘增强去隔行、灵活的可编程定标器和许多图片增强过滤器,然后再将增强图像传递到视频输出端口。
